I think she will. Have you read Carlene Bauer’s Frances and Bernard? It’s an epistolary novel based in part on the correspondence between Flannery O’Connor and Robert Lowell. I read it last week and loved it.

OK, you are the second person who has pointed me towards Frances and Bernard, in addition to the brief blurb-review I saw in the LA Times. I guess I’d better check it out! ๐
Do you like O’Connor, then? Always nice to meet another reader who appreciates her. I read a novel called A Good Hard Look which also fictionalized aspects of her life and I thought it was quite well done. You might want to check it out.
Thanks for stopping by and for following my blog. I’m going to follow yours, too. I hope to chat more with you!

I do like O’Connor, although I haven’t read as much as I feel I ought to. I’ll put A Good Hard Look on my library list — thanks for the recommendation! And thanks for following my blog too! Looking forward to talking about books!

It’s good to take your time with her…. ๐
If you’re ever inclined, I recommend her letters, collected in The Habit of Being. it’s a wonderful insight into her life as a reader and writer.
Cheers!
